• My group and I discovered a few problems... There was a difficulty with a member in our group and we were not working together... "as a group" very well. This was the only problem we had in this unit of work. We resolved this problem after talking to our teacher (Mr. Andrews) and we are now including each other and trying to work together to produce a magnificent film. Another problem we came across in this unit is when we had to present to the class our rough edit and ours did not seem to want to play. We resolved this problem by bringing in a saved copy of the movie and playing it to the class the next day.
• During this project I have discovered the use of Final Cut Pro and a video render that changes videos to different formats, which is very handy.
• I personally find the video very embarrassing (the scenes I am in) but I believe the story line, editing and camera angles are very good. I am happy with our rough edit and the beginning of our editing. We worked as a group to make rendering faster.
• We got in real early last term and started to film but this term I feel we are a little behind in the editing, especially because the troubles with group members and the time it takes to render clips.
• I would like to fix a few scenes in our movie... For perfection but its to late now to re-film. I will just have to make the best out of what I have, which is very good footage.
• If I could start again I would have rough knowledge on what my teacher expects of me and what time limits I have to go by. I would be able to produce a better film because I would have learnt from my mistakes. I would be more organized and work better in a team to make jobs easier and faster.
• My group and I have saved and uploaded our footage to a suitable computer for editing. We all have copies of the film on our USB’s and on our home computers.
• Our group also has saved original footage at home on our computers and on our USB’s which is very useful incase something happens to someone’s USB. This way we can’t “lose” the footage.
