A shot-
Is a continuous piece of filming without interruption form the time the camera is turned on.
An edit-
Is a break in the film where one shot ends and another begins.
A scene-
Is a collection of shots, arranged through editing into a specific order.
The frame-
Is the border or edge of the screen in the cinema.
Framing-
Is deciding what you will let the audience see.

Mise-en-scène –
A French term and originates in the theater. It means, literally, "put in the scene." For film, it has a broader meaning, and refers to almost everything that goes into the composition of the shot.
Cinematography-
Is the making of lighting and camera choices when recording photographic images for the cinema.
Editing-
Is the process of selecting and preparing language, images, sound, video, or film through processes of correction, condensation, organization, and other modifications in various media.
Sound-
Is the sensation produced by stimulation of the organs of hearing by vibrations transmitted through the air or other medium.
Mechanical vibrations transmitted through an elastic medium, traveling in air.
