Evaluation

In this unit I found the photo shop task difficult. We had to get into groups and portray someone's first day of school in at least 5 images. Then we had to get onto photo shop and adjust the lighting and tone to match the mood of the scene and what was taking place in it. I over came this problem by asking friends for help and this helped me in regarding to the unit as it showed me how just lighting can affect the way the audience sees and understands the scene or image. In this unit of work I discovered that I could analyse a scene from a movie and I also discovered that producing a film is much more difficult then it seems. Once you get past the camera and see all the planning and affects involved you are blown away. Planning and research helped me write my essay greatly. It helped me understand the task and gain better structure and stronger statements to my essay. Without the planning and research I did my essay would not be half as good is it is. In the essay I did find myself getting stuck on words. I did not know how to word what I wanted to say. I solved this problem by proof reading my essay to make sure everything made sense and there were no errors.

I am ecstatic with my essay! I am very satisfied with my final result with an overall of A- although I could have wrote the conclusion better by summarizing every paragraph into a few words. I could also have had stronger sentences to support my statements. If I could change my essay I would watch my sentence structure and make my conclusion stronger to remind the reader what the essay was about.

Overall I am very happy with this terms work. I enjoyed the topic and I am very pumped for next terms work.
